One of the best known designers from Czechia, Jindrich Halabala (b. 1903) produced beautiful functional streamlined pieces, often with bentwood construction. This pair were created as Model H-227 and produced by Thonet before the war - then Up Zavody afterwards. These with dark stained wood with nice patina to the arms and newly upholstered in a pattered navy fabric.
