pinewood & leather chest of drawers

The pinewood craze in the 1970s reflected the movement towards a more relaxed and naturalistic approach to decor - and the movement extended in the U.S. and throughout Europe. This very fun chest with classic pinewood coloration/graining has for equal sized drawers each with wood disk decor applied at the corners. Extruding wooden drawer pulls are leather wrapped. Arched and open base. Produced (and marked) in Sweden by Fröseke - late 1960s to early 1970s.
