One of the leading lights of the Italian modernist movement, Milanese Italian architect and furniture designer Paolo Buffa (1903-1970) created both opulent and streamlined pieces with an avant-garde flair. This pair of armchairs is attributed to Buffa and certainly match his style - subtle curves and open structure with a double-form seat. Sold as a set of two chairs with one ottoman.
