Created as a modular sofa by Italian Milanese architect and designer Cini Boeri (1924-2020) - whose actual name is Maria Cristina Mariani Dameno. The "Strips" sofa won the Compasso D'Oro design award in 1970 and is included in the MOMA design collection. This 82" six-panel plush sofa has a removable cover and can easily function as a daybed. Very design-forward for the late 1960s. Produced by Arflex, Italy. Currently being updated with a beautiful forest green cotton duck. New images to follow.
