Scandinavian Modern pioneer Arne Norell created casual and sexy designs that emphasized comfort. Like this Ilona 3-seat sofa chair - his pieces tended to have flexibility of structure without screws or glue - instead focusing on leather strapping and dowel construction. This classic chair is all original in medium brown eight loose cushions over dark brown saddle leather support and a solid dark-stained beechwood frame. Produced by Arne Norell AB in Aneby, Sweden, 1970s.
