“We discovered Stack during 3DaysofDesign in Copenhagen and it immediately resonated with us: it’s intelligent, expressive, and deeply practical. Studio Moto approaches furniture the way we think about living: nothing is fixed.”
— Michael Hofemann, FINCH Hudson, as quoted in Remodelista
Mo Vandenberghe and Thomas Hick of Studio Moto conceived Stack out of necessity: needing storage for their Ghent studio, they found nothing that suited them and designed their own. The result is a system of interlocking raw aluminum components that require no screws or tools to assemble — pieces click securely into place and can be reconfigured at any time.

FINCH Hudson secured exclusive US distribution after Michael Hofemann and Andrew Arrick encountered the system at Copenhagen’s 3DaysofDesign fair. “It’s intelligent, expressive, and deeply practical,” says Hofemann. “Studio Moto approaches furniture the way we think about living: nothing is fixed.” The acquisition marks a deliberate broadening of FINCH’s scope — moving beyond antiques curation to stock considered contemporary design that shares the same exacting aesthetic sensibility.
