An archetypal armchair style emerged in various iterations from the 1950s onwards, with a notable emphasis on Scandinavian design. This pair has far more style that typical box shapes - as would be expected from it's Italian origin. Nicely curved seat and seat back set a softer visual and accentuated by flared arms and scoop seat front. Frame appears to be solid teakwood that sits low to the ground with angles back for lounging comfort. Beautifully upholstered in two shades of green. Italy.
